You will never see these on yourself. A ring sits in your own line of sight all day and a necklace turns up in every mirror you pass, but a stud lives on the one part of you that only other people look at, from angles you cannot check. It is the single category of jewelry bought entirely for someone else's viewing position.

Which makes the silhouette matter more than the face of the setting. 1.50 carats across two stones puts enough depth under each one that the head has real height, and four prongs are what keep that profile narrow: four points of metal gripping at the girdle, with the stone's own outline visible in the gaps between them. A bezel would be more secure and would cost the outline entirely.

Grown by CVD, IGI certified, G in color and VS2 in clarity, four-prong set on push-back posts in solid 14K gold, yellow or white. This is the weight people tend to arrive at second, after a carat has been worn for a year and has quietly turned into something ordinary.

Both metals carry the same stones and the same grading, and both are warranted for life.

Buying Guide

How to Choose Lab-Grown Diamond Stud Earrings

Carat weight (total, across both earrings) sets the overall presence: 0.50–1.00ct total suits subtle, everyday studs; 1.50–2.00ct balances everyday elegance with visible sparkle; and 3.00–4.00ct makes a bold statement. Metal colour is a matter of preference rather than durability — 14K yellow gold offers a warm, classic look, while 14K white gold is rhodium-plated for a brighter, more contemporary finish that maximizes diamond brilliance. Both are solid 14K gold on every DEEVE stud, never plated or vermeil, and set with the same G colour, VS2 clarity IGI-certified lab-grown diamonds.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How is the 1.50 carat total split between the two earrings?

Three quarters of a carat in each ear. Each earring is set with one round brilliant, and the 1.50 ct figure is the two stones together.

Does the 1.50 ct use a lower grade than the smaller pairs?

No. G colour and VS2 clarity, the same as every other weight in this line, with an IGI certificate included. What changes between the weights is scale, not stone quality.

Is the 1.50 ct size right for me?

It is the weight people tend to arrive at second, after a carat has been worn for a year and has quietly turned into something ordinary. A clear step up in presence that still works for daily wear.

How does the 1.50 ct compare with the 1.00 ct and 2.00 ct pairs?

More size than the 1.00 ct without reaching the statement scale of 2.00 ct and above. Every weight in the line shares the same G colour and VS2 clarity, so the choice between them is presence rather than stone quality.

Why four prongs rather than a bezel at this weight?

1.50 carats across two stones puts enough depth under each one that the head has real height, and four prongs are what keep that profile narrow — four points of metal gripping at the girdle, with the stone's own outline visible in the gaps. A bezel would be more secure and would cost the outline entirely.

Do the yellow gold and white gold versions hold the same stones?

Yes. Both metals carry the same 1.50 ct total at G colour and VS2 clarity, and both are warranted for life. Only the gold differs — never plated or vermeil in either.

Is a push back secure enough at 1.50 ct?

Yes — a push back on a notched post is the standard closure for a stud of this weight. Pinch the back gently closed every few months and replace it once it stops resisting the pull; our in-house workshop does both under the lifetime warranty.
