Our Founder
Arta Talachian
Master Goldsmith & Certified Gemologist — Ontario, Canada
Arta Talachian is the founder and master craftsman behind DEEVE, bringing over 25 years of hands-on experience in fine jewelry design, goldsmithing, gemology, and appraisal. Every piece in the DEEVE collection is designed, cast, and finished under his direct oversight in our Ontario studio.
Arta's expertise spans the full spectrum of fine jewelry — from alloy formulation and casting to stone setting, diamond grading, and IGI certificate verification. His science-based approach to materials and his commitment to transparency are the foundation of everything DEEVE creates.
As a Certified Gemologist, Arta reviews the grading behind every diamond before it enters the DEEVE collection. For our engagement rings, wedding rings, and diamond stud earrings, that means verifying each IGI certificate — confirming laser inscriptions and reviewing clarity plots — with every lab-grown diamond cut to Excellent. Lab-grown diamond tennis bracelets are graded in-house (F–G colour, VS2–SI1 clarity), since IGI does not individually certify diamonds under 0.25 carat.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where is DEEVE jewelry made?
All DEEVE jewelry is designed, cast, and finished in-house at our Ontario, Canada studio by Arta Talachian, Master Goldsmith & Certified Gemologist, with 25+ years of experience. Every piece undergoes quality inspection at each stage before shipping.
Are DEEVE's lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. DEEVE's lab-grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds — same carbon crystal structure, same Mohs 10 hardness, same optical performance. Across our engagement rings, wedding rings, and diamond stud earrings, every lab-grown diamond is IGI-certified with full 4Cs grading and cut to Excellent. Lab-grown diamond tennis bracelets are graded in-house (F–G colour, VS2–SI1 clarity), as IGI does not individually certify diamonds under 0.25 carat. Read the Diamond Education Hub →
Are DEEVE's diamonds certified?
Our lab-grown diamonds are IGI-certified with full 4Cs grading across our engagement rings, wedding rings, and diamond stud earrings, and every lab-grown diamond is cut to Excellent. Lab-grown diamond tennis bracelets are the one exception: IGI doesn't individually certify diamonds under 0.25 carat, and a tennis bracelet is set with many small stones, so each bracelet is graded in-house instead — F–G colour, VS2–SI1 clarity. Our natural diamonds are conflict-free and responsibly sourced, with IGI or GIA certification available on request. The pieces we stock balance quality and value, and higher colour and clarity grades are available by special order.
Does DEEVE use solid gold or gold plated jewelry?
DEEVE uses only solid 14K and 18K gold — never plated, never filled. Solid gold means the gold alloy runs throughout the entire piece, ensuring it can be polished, repaired, and worn for generations. Read Materials & Authenticity →
What warranty does DEEVE offer?
DEEVE offers a lifetime warranty on all jewelry, covering manufacturing defects, prong retipping, stone resetting, clasp repair, rhodium re-plating for white gold, and professional cleaning. Warranty repairs include free prepaid insured shipping both ways. Most repairs are completed within 2–3 weeks. Full warranty details →
Does DEEVE ship to the United States?
Yes. DEEVE ships across Canada and the United States with free shipping on all orders. Returns are also free within both countries. View shipping & returns policy →
Can I order a larger tennis bracelet or a higher diamond grade than what's in stock?
Yes. Beyond our stocked pieces, we make larger and heavier tennis bracelets and diamond earrings to order, and we can source higher colour and clarity grades on request. Special orders typically ship in about two weeks — email support@deeve.ca to get started.
