The Franco is a chain people tend to wear for years without taking off, and this narrow one is built for exactly that. Its V-shaped links are woven in four directions into a rounded cord only 2.20mm across, solid 14K yellow gold throughout, with the outer surface diamond-cut so the weave shows a fine, faceted texture.
For its width it is a dense chain: 10.5 g at 18 inches, 11.6 g at 20 and 13.9 g at 24. A Franco this narrow but this solid carries more gold than some noticeably wider chains.
Eighteen inches sits at the base of the neck, twenty at the collarbone, and twenty-four drops lower for wear over a shirt. It is complete on its own and sits neatly under a collar.
