Seven grams is a lot of gold for beads this small, and the number tells you how it is built. That weight comes from a high count of solid beads per inch rather than a few large ones strung out with space between them, and density is what gives a fine bead chain its drape. It falls into the hollow of the throat and stays there instead of riding up.
