14K Gold Solid Mariner Link Bracelet

A wrist is a smaller circle than a neck, and that changes what a wide link has to do. Around a 7.5-inch loop, a mariner link 8.8mm across turns through a much tighter arc than the same link would hanging from a collar, so there are fewer links in the run and each one carries more of the bend. That is the argument for high polish at this width.
