A 3.40mm small stretch mesh bracelet in solid 14K yellow gold, about 1.9 grams, with no clasp. Narrow the weave and every wire starts to matter more. A wide mesh has enough strands across it that one loop pulled out of line vanishes into the crowd. At 3.40mm only a few courses span the width, so the pattern has to be even and both edges have to run true, or the band reads as a wobble rather than as a line.

1.9 grams is about as little as solid gold can weigh and still be a bracelet.
