0.14ct Diamond Triangle Pendant Necklace in 14K White Gold

White gold is not naturally white. It begins as yellow gold alloyed with metals that bleach it, and the cold bright surface you actually see is a rhodium plating over the top of that. On a stone-set piece the plating earns its keep: warm metal reflected up into a diamond tints the stone, and rhodium is what keeps fourteen near-colorless diamonds reading cold rather than creamy.

The pendant measures 0.50 inches across its top edge and narrows to a point below it. That geometry does something specific to where you look: the widest run of stones sits closest to the throat and the metal falls away beneath it, so the piece pulls the eye upward. Fourteen round diamonds cover the face at 0.14 carat total weight, each in its own prongs, which is how the spacing stays even as the triangle closes.

Point-down is also the stable way to hang a triangle. The mass sits along the top edge directly beneath the bail, so the pendant finds level on its own and returns to it after you move. Turn the same outline point-up and the weight moves to the bottom, where it swings. A 16-inch cable chain and a lobster clasp complete it.
