A 0.97 ct double-prong round solitaire diamond engagement ring in solid 14K white gold, its natural diamonds led by a 0.97 ct center stone, I–J (near-colorless) in color and I1–I2 (included) in clarity. One stone, four pairs of prongs, and nothing else on the band. A bare solitaire gives you nowhere to hide a mistake in proportion, which is why it is the hardest simple ring to make well and the one people keep coming back to.
