A 4.50mm faceted Cuban chain necklace in solid 14K yellow gold, about 5.0 g at 18 inches. Flattening is what makes a Cuban link lie down. Faceting is what happens next: once the link has a flat face, a cutter can cross it with angled cuts, and those cuts give the chain a second and much harder kind of light, a white line that runs along its length and breaks wherever the chain turns.
