Named for the smooth, rounded band of a classic wedding ring, this hoop has a broad, domed profile that looks full and substantial from every angle. How a snap lock hoop closes

A snap lock is built into the hoop itself. A hinged post swings across, passes through the piercing and clicks into a catch on the other side, which turns the hoop into one closed circle that cannot slide out. To take it off, ease the post out of the catch and swing it open. No click means the post is not seated yet.
