A herringbone bracelet looks less like a chain than a ribbon of gold. Its short, flat links are laid in a tight V, so the surface reads as one smooth band that catches light along its whole length. At 2.80mm this Super Flex herringbone sits at the delicate end of the style, made to lie flat and close against the wrist.

It comes in 14K yellow gold at 7 or 8 inches and in 14K white gold at 7 inches. The weight follows the length: about 1.8 g at 7 inches in either color, and 2.0 g for the 8-inch yellow.

Seven inches sits closer to the wrist; eight hangs a little looser and drifts toward the hand. Alone it looks polished and quiet, and it makes a matched set with the 2.80mm herringbone necklace in white gold.

A herringbone is made of short, flat links laid in a V pattern, so the chain lies as one smooth band of gold. That flatness is the point of it, and also the thing to look after: a sharp fold can crease the links. Store it flat or hanging with the clasp fastened, and take it off before sleep, sport and the gym.
